Jeff Hastings – CEO, Author, Educator, and Advocate
Jeff Hastings is the President and CEO of Ivy Consulting Group, where he brings together decades of experience in insurance, technology, coaching, and organizational development to help companies unlock the full potential of their people. Holding a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Harvard University (Extension School), Jeff is widely recognized for delivering cutting-edge strategies in workplace performance, leadership development, employee engagement, and ethical integration of artificial intelligence in education and workforce systems.
Jeff is also an adjunct professor at Lone Star College, where he teaches Dual-Credit Psychology to disadvantaged youth. Passionate about creating access to quality education, he develops inclusive, high-impact learning environments—both in person and online—that prepare students for real-world success. His approach bridges the academic and the practical, helping students build confidence, emotional intelligence, and long-term career skills.
A respected author and international keynote speaker, Jeff has written multiple books on business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. His latest release, “From Campus to Career: A Step-by-Step Guide to Better Grades, A Better Career, and a Brighter Future,” coauthored with his stepson—a Brown University graduate—equips students with actionable tools for academic and professional success. Jeff also hosts the podcast “Psychology for Students,” where he explores essential psychological insights to help young people thrive in both school and life.
His critically acclaimed book, “The Most Successful Failure in the World: Building a Business that Gives Life Meaning,” has been called the EMyth of the 21st century—a compelling narrative that challenges conventional ideas of success and inspires readers to build businesses that serve not just profits, but people.
Previously a District Manager at Farmers Insurance and a Certified EMyth Business Coach, Jeff developed several proprietary personality assessments to enhance remote team performance and recruitment. His applied research continues to influence how modern organizations manage, motivate, and retain talent.
Jeff is deeply committed to combating human trafficking and supporting at-risk youth through education, community engagement, and advocacy. He believes that by leveraging networks in business and academia, we can open doors for those most vulnerable and create a more equitable, empowered future.
He resides with his wife, Kimberly Andersen Hastings, and their children—Kristin, Avery, and Logan—in Cypress, Texas, where family, faith, and purpose-driven work remain at the heart of everything he does.
