The project is currently in the adaptation phase and is being handled by a reputable Los Angeles-based film production company. ---------- After receiving and replying to many questions from friends, colleagues, and former clients about how I went from the top of my career as a bank executive for nearly 20 years to embarking on my Unconventional Journey, I was encouraged by them to tell my story. So first, a little bit about my background: Right out of high school, in my first year of junior college, I had no real work experience to put on a resume. However, I was fortunate to enter the corporate world by applying for and receiving an internship with the pension and profit-sharing division of a major national insurance company with satellite offices in the financial district of Los Angeles. At 30, I applied for a commercial lending position at a major Financial Institution. The bank invested in my education, helping me launch my exciting career in Commercial Banking. In the early nineties, I was fortunate to meet a young bank executive, James (Jim) Lokey, at a San Francisco banking conference. And so my story begins. My Journey may have been ‘Unconventional,’ but it was a moving and life-changing experience. I hope you will enjoy reading my story.
