Janella Jackman is the author of Still I Rise: A Memoir of Resilience, Faith, and Becoming. Her writing reflects a journey of perseverance, healing, and personal transformation. Born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Florida, Janella became a mother at a young age and learned early what it meant to carry responsibility without a father figure. Through faith and determination, she turned many of life’s challenges into lessons of strength and resilience. In her memoir, she shares a deeply personal story of overcoming adversity, reclaiming her voice, and choosing to rise. Her prayer is that readers are reminded their past does not define their future.
