Janella Jackman is the author of Still I Rise: A Memoir of Resilience, Faith, and Becoming. Her writing reflects a journey of perseverance, healing, and personal transformation.

Born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Florida, Janella became a mother at a young age and learned early what it meant to carry responsibility without a father figure. Through faith and determination, she turned many of life’s challenges into lessons of strength and resilience.

In her memoir, she shares a deeply personal story of overcoming adversity, reclaiming her voice, and choosing to rise. Her prayer is that readers are reminded their past does not define their future.

She lives in Florida with her husband and four daughters and enjoys creating, designing spaces, and sharing her journey of growth and purpose.
