Dr. John-Paul C. Foster serves as Senior Pastor at Faithful Central Bible Church, one of the largest and most influential congregations in Southern California. His leadership and Biblical exposition have impacted thousands both in the Los Angeles area and around the world, as he encourages people to build their lives on the foundation of God’s word. In addition to his role as Senior Pastor, Dr. Foster serves as a Ministry Affiliate Faculty member, a unique position designed to bridge the gap between the Academy, Church, and Community. He has spent the past seven years teaching courses in Biblical Interpretation, Spiritual Formation, and Hermeneutics at Biola University, Talbot School of Theology. John-Paul received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies at Biola University. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he received his master’s degree at Talbot Theological Seminary. He has also studied Church Unity and Reconciliation at Oxford in England, Organization Leadership at the King's University, Prophetic Literature at Moody Bible Institute, and has received his Doctorate at Talbot School of Theology. Dr. Foster has also contributed his expertise as an entertainment industry consultant for major Hollywood studios, helping to shape faith-based film and television projects. His insight into the intersection of faith and media has made him a sought-after voice in developing content that reflects Christian values. Most recently, he consulted on Amazon Primes, "House of David." Furthermore, Dr. Foster has led impactful initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes and the overall well-being of impoverished areas in Kenya and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). His efforts have brought sustainable programs that create opportunities and hope for underserved communities.
