Jean-Francois (J.F.) Benoist is a mental health pioneer and the bestselling author of Addicted to the Monkey Mind and Avive la Vie: An Adventure in Belonging. For over a decade, he and his wife, Joyce, operated a cutting-edge holistic addiction treatment center in Hawaii, focusing on long-term transformation through his therapeutic methodology, Experiential Engagement Therapy™ (EET).

As the Avive la Vie Organization founder and a Certified Option Process Mentor/Counselor, J.F. is recognized for his authentic, experiential techniques and ability to address the core beliefs that shape behaviors. He also serves as an international leader emeritus for The Mankind Project, supporting men to live with integrity and purpose.
