J.D. grew up in Oklahoma where he raced motocross, played baseball, and wrestled. He earned a black belt in judo. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. J.D. and his wife, Deysi, live in Allen, Texas, and have two amazing sons. They enjoy staying active and traveling together.
