Ian McKenzie has held senior teaching and administrative positions in each of the primary, secondary, special and tertiary education sectors, in both government and non-government institutes. Positions included: Head of Department, Principal, Faculty Head and Manager of Studies. Ian's last role in the education sector was lecturing international post-graduate professionals up to December 2016. With his seventy-first birthday coming up in January 2017, he decided it was time to retire from pedagogy and spend more of his time concentrating on two of his passions; photography and writing. His publications include books on Aussie humour and slang, rhetorical devices, giving effective presentations and numerous photography albums. The majority of his books are available as both traditional paperbacks and as e-books. E-books have been priced at affordable prices to make them accessible for everyone.
