Ian Keldoulis is an Australian writer who prefers shade to sunshine and crowded sidewalks to the outback — which is why he's spent four decades in New York City perfecting his favorite sport: people-watching.

His writing has appeared in The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, and New York Magazine, and he is the New York correspondent for the Australian-based Neighbourhood Paper. In between, he ran his own ad agency, won ten awards, and wrote more animated dog commercials than he cares to count. After decades of being paid to keep a straight face about corporate synergy, he wrote Toyz On Demand! — a satirical novel about what happens when the North Pole melts and Santa sells out to the world's biggest internet toy company.

He is also the co-author of Unblinded (with Dr. David Guyer) and the author of America's Youngest Hostages. His award-winning screenplays are in development at his production company, Shade 2 Sunshine.
