Non-fiction writer. Vice-president of the non-profit organization "Clear Light", which deals with the issue of cannabis. Producer of the Tokyo International Cannabis Film Festival. While working as a stage producer, he began writing and made his debut in 1999 with the book "Fushigi Ryokou Annai: Bokura wa Shinpi no Naka wo Iku" (Daiwa Shuppan). Since then he has written and lectured on topics such as cannabis, street culture and spirituality. He has a deep knowledge of cannabis and has been involved in activities related to legal reform and the use of cannabis to improve the environment since the 1980s. His books include "A New Introduction to Cannabis" (Gentosha Shinsho), "Cannabis: Forbidden History and the Future of Medicine" (Cosmic Publishing), "Let's Stop Lying and Hiding: The Concept of Health Cannabis" (co-author, Hikarulando), "The Dignity of Drugs" (Businesssha), "Why are you arresting people for cannabis? (NAVIS), "Is cannabis use a crime? Cannabis policy and diversity' (co-author, Gendai Jinbunsha).
