Helen Beebee is a philosopher based in Leeds. She has written and edited a bunch of academic philosophy books, but she's also written a couple of philosophy books for a general audience -- Philosophy, Why it Matters (Polity 2019, with Michael Rush) and Free Will: An Introduction (Palgrave Macmillan 2013) -- as well as a book with no philosophy in it to speak of, with psychotherapist Matthew Elton: Equality at Home: Why We Argue about the Washing-up and How to Stop (Buzzing Hell Press 2026).
