Why not simply do something "sensible" after completing her degree in German Language and Literature? And yet life is not about doing what everyone else is doing. You can't fetch the stars out of the sky. But one day when Heike Fröhling turns 80 and looks out over the sea, she would like to be able to say to herself that at least she tried.
