Heidi was born and raised a Louisiana girl. While she does not sport the accent of a true Cajun, she can still eat and cook like one! She resides in Louisiana with her husband, Logan, and their two dogs, Junie and Poppi. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Creative Writing from Louisiana State University and her master’s in English Writing and Linguistics from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. One day, she hopes to inspire others with her words to be the best human beings that they can be. With a book in one hand and her laptop in another, she knows she will always rely on reading and writing to give her the peace-of-mind that is often so hard to find in this world. In her dreams, she walks into Barnes and Noble, smelling the scent of paper, ink, and coffee, and sees her novels sitting on the shelves, waiting for a reader to disappear within their pages.
