Heather Baker is an author, speaker, award-winning makeup artist, and founder of Emi Rose Cosmetics. Her writing is rooted in grief, faith, healing, and the courage it takes to tell the truth.

After the stillbirth of her daughter, Blakely Grace, Heather began sharing honestly about loss, marriage, motherhood, and the kind of pain that changes you forever. She and her husband, Cody, coauthored Us After Loss, a book created to help couples feel less alone as they navigate pregnancy and infant loss together.

Her second book, Stay Pretty, Be Quiet, is a deeply personal and empowering story about silence, survival, and finding the courage to reclaim your voice. Blending raw honesty with hope, Heather writes for the woman who has been taught to shrink, please, perform, or stay quiet — and reminds her that healing is possible, truth matters, and she was never meant to fight alone.

Heather’s work is shaped by her faith, her family, her years in the beauty industry, and her unexpected love for Muay Thai, which became a powerful part of her healing journey. Whether through writing, speaking, makeup, or movement, her mission is to help women remember who they are, find beauty in their becoming, and keep going.
