My novels are dramatic romances or social dramas/ romantic political thrillers and stories about interpersonal relationships defined by conflict and emotional growth. Themes such as retribution, existential struggles, political tension, international intrigue, and criminal elements, like illegal arms dealing, often play a central role. The stories feature a tender yet fragile romance set against a backdrop of personal destiny, romantic entanglements, social and political tension, power dynamics, and vulnerability. These novels explore the complexities of modern conflict, radical retribution, attachment, and love, while offering a tragicomic reflection on power, wounded egos, and the interplay of revenge, love, and personal responsibility. Love and loss are portrayed as a complex web of desire, responsibility, guilt, and self-doubt. Passion, seduction, and risk, along with emotion, power, and personal responsibility,typically drive the narratives. The stories depict psychologically complex characters in extreme situations where love, power, and destruction blur into one another. Connections between central themes and literary motifs (such as love as tragedy or power as an intensifier of conflict) become apparent. Love serves as both a starting point and a destructive force; love is never stable. My stories may contain explicit scenes of an erotic nature between characters; these are included because they serve the dramatic arc of the story. Anyone inclined to take issue with this might also consider what we are exposed to in Sunday night crime dramas or the evening news. After all, the erotic elements in my novels harm no one—quite the opposite! Everyone involved has a great time. Real life, by contrast, often leaves us stunned by actual tragedies. Sometimes I ask myself: Shouldn't *that* be what upsets us?
