Guy Stanton served in HM Customs and Excise Investigation Division for over 25 years during a 30-year career in Customs. He retired in 2005 due to ill health but has continued to run an highly successful business in the private sector.

He spent 11 of those years as an undercover officer specialising in infiltrating criminal groups and gangs. During the National COVID-19 lockdown he decided to document his experiences for his daughter. This was subsequently published as a book titled *The Betrayer* co authored with Peter Walsh.

The book’s success led to a highly regarded Netflix television series titled *Legends* which has recently been renewed for a second season.
