The Classic Greeks wanted their creative works to move the audience. Whether it was to move them emotionally or intellectually, the audience was to be different from before experiencing the work. Though some work may affect emotion or intellect more than the other, that your thinking or feeling has been affected to some degree is the goal. That is my goal in my writing, to intellectually and emotionally affect my readers, and to leave them changed in some way from the experience of the story read. I've earned a Masters in Forensic Psychology, and a PhD in Psychology emphasizing cognitive and evolutionary studies.
