Born in Dublin and grew up in London, Gordon left school at 15 and entered the world of entertainment. He went on to be a successful entrepreneur. He is dyslexic and never imagined he could write a book even though he had a fantasy of doing so. Later in life, he challenged himself by starting to learn to use the computer and started to write about his single mother's struggle to have him. Beyond his wildest dreams, he was signed up by top literary agent Andrew Lownie and publisher HarperCollins for his first memoirs, Secret Child. His second book is Secret to Sultan, a follow on book to the first, mapping what happens to him and his family later on. His third book, Little People, has been released and it is set in Ireland about two children who enters a parallel world of fairies and mortals based on Irish folklore. He sees himself as an accidental writer but his experience of writing the two books was so satisfying, he is continuing to pursue this interest. He is now writing fiction based on true life experiences.
