PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY: My professional journey revolved around the dynamic intersection of business and IT systems for over four decades. I held various management roles throughout my career, steadily taking on greater responsibilities. I led diverse system and application implementations, consistently enhancing performance and driving success. My leadership was defined by building highly efficient teams and strategically removing obstacles through meticulous planning, organizational expertise, and the cultivation of strong professional relationships. After many years in the IT industry, I retired from IBM in 2016. LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY: In my managerial capacities, I harnessed the power of motivation, relying on encouragement, exemplary leadership, and a collaborative spirit. My approach was overseeing projects and inspiring teams to surpass their potential, recognizing that true success is achieved through shared accomplishment. WRITING JOURNEY: From early memories of eagerly embracing writing projects in grade school to my teenage attempt at crafting a novel—interrupted, predictably, by the allure of outdoor adventures—I harbored a persistent desire to tell compelling stories. In my early twenties, I embarked on a fiction novel exploring the gripping premise of a US Space Shuttle crew abduction by the USSR. Life's demands momentarily eclipsed this endeavor, but the passion for storytelling endured. LITERARY CULMINATION: My first novel, “Dominance Unleashed: Unmasking the Monolithic King,” encapsulates the culmination of my lifelong storytelling aspiration. It represents years of contemplation and a commitment to crafting a narrative that resonates with the complexities of our contemporary world. After completing my first novel, I was eager to write another adventure, which resulted in “Echoes of Duty: In Search of Innocence.” My third novel, “Quest,” is now available. It is a high-stakes thriller with intrigue, cutting-edge technology, and pulse-pounding suspense. In the age of AI, it explores the fine line between innovation and destruction, loyalty and betrayal.
