Gloria Squitiro has a bachelor's in psychology and is published in Harper’s and Authority/Medium magazines and is an editorial writer for See Beyond Magazine. She is the author of the bestselling titles: May Cause Drowsiness and Blurred Vision: The Side Effects of Bravery and C'mon Funk Move: How a Demure Little Wife Made Her Husband a Big-City Mayor—the first two books in the 3-book C'mon Funk Trilogy. The final book in the series, Hiding Behind Nice: They Can Throw Her Out But They Can’t Shut Her Up, is due 2025. Gloria has been married to Mark Funkhouser for 45 long years. Her mission in life is to make every other man on earth grateful that he’s not married to her. Squitiro is an INFJ, also known as the advocate and counselor, the rarest personality type. Intuitive, idealistic, and thoughtful, INFJs strive to have a positive impact on the world. They are in tune with other people’s emotions. Gloria’s passion is to put out a message that people can relate to, expressing what others think and feel, helping them realize they are not alone. In 2006, Squitiro became Funk’s campaign manager by default. She has the rare distinction of being the only First Lady to be legally banned from the city hall office where her husband was mayor.
