Gissele Taraba has two amazing children and a wonderful partner named David. She also has a double Masters, one in Health Research Methods and another one in Social Work. Additionally, she is trained in mindfulness and self-compassion. Gissele Taraba is co-owner of Maitri Centre for Love and Compassion. Maitri Centre offers one to one support sessions and workshops to individuals to assist them in remembering their own self-love and self-compassion. We also work with businesses to increase the amount of compassion at work. Under her leadership, she has successfully taken teams that were considered dysfunctional and assisted them in becoming flourishing and compassionate teams.
