Giancarlo Granda was born in Miami, FL in 1991 to immigrant parents from Cuba and Mexico. An alumnus of Florida International University, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2016 and later pursued a Master's degree in real estate finance and development from Georgetown University, graduating in 2020. A seasoned entrepreneur, Giancarlo serves as the Managing Member of Alton Hostel, LLC and co-owned the Miami Hostel from 2013 to 2020. His story caught national attention when he co-authored "Off the Deep End: Jerry and Becki Falwell and the Collapse of an Evangelical Dynasty" in 2022 and became the focal point of Hulu's record-breaking documentary, "God Forbid," directed and produced by Billy Corben, Alfred Spellman, Davis Cypkin, and Adam McKay. As of 2023, Giancarlo is dedicating time to family and friends and exploring new business ventures.
