George James, PsyD, LMFT, MBA, is the CEO of George Talks, a consulting and communication firm at the intersection of leadership, relationships and mental health. He is also a licensed therapist, executive coach, international speaker and corporate consultant with over 20 years of experience. Known for his expert insights, Dr. James has been featured on the Today show, CBS Mornings, CNN, NBC News Now, Nickelodeon, CNBC and The New York Times. Dr. George helps audiences give themselves permission to be greater. He works with executives, educators, entrepreneurs, athletes, entertainers, couples, corporations, family foundations and family-owned businesses to navigate the complex realities of leadership, legacy, and life at home. Dr. George believes deeply in the power of permission to help people show up better for themselves, their families, and their communities. His work has been recognized with honors such as the Excellence in Media Award from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the BMe Genius Award. A Villanova presidential scholar, Dr. James completed his studies at the university, and returned for his MBA, and lives in the Philadelphia metropolitan area with his wife, Dr. Candace Robertson-James, and their two children, Nalani and Alex.
