BIO: Gary Waid co-wrote the Florida noir novel GITMO, and the exciting thriller GOLIATH with his writing partner Shawn Corridan. He knows his subjects. In his life he has been a commercial fisherman in the Gulf and Southern Atlantic waters, a delivery captain for sail and powerboats, and a captain-only charter skipper in the Caribbean region. As a young man he spent over twelve years in the marijuana smuggling trade, and did eight years in prison for his excesses. He now lives with his wife on a sailboat in Florida. His writings have been published in 'Latitudes & Attitudes Magazine' and 'Southwinds' among others. He and Shawn are currently working on another novel. He can be contacted on Facebook or Twitter.
