Garrick Blake is an IT Security consultant and occasional ghost hunter. He lives as deep in the swamp as he feels comfortable in south Louisiana, his long-term goal of a statistically probably haunted hermitage finally completed. The villagers speak of him in hushed tones and children cross in front of his house on the other side of the street. Except for Halloween, because he gives out full-sized candy bars. Most people know him from his first book, Echoes of Austin, or from his small but vital role in season two of The Gilmore Girls, before his character was eaten by wild dogs. He owns enough novelty t-shirts to delay laundry for months at a time and recently learned that a person can wear pants during a Zoom meeting. HR was very clear and unnecessarily shrill about that. Fun fact: Garrick loves writing about himself in the third person and doesn’t feel weird about it at all. There is always at least one candle burning and all activity will stop for a good ghost story or a decent whiskey, as all activity should.
