Gail Champion Barber went to Childhaven Children’s home in Cullman, Alabama when she was eight years old and lived there until she went to college. She met Jerrie Barber at Freed-Hardeman College. They married August 18, 1964. Jerrie and Gail have two children. Jerrie Wayne Barber, II and Christi Barber Parsons. Jerrie and Gail have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Gail enjoys sewing, painting, and all things crafty. She enjoys teaching children’s classes and ladies’ classes. Gail loves being a preacher’s wife and helping Jerrie in his work wherever they are ministering. Jerrie and Gail have worked full time in Yorkville, Tennessee, Madisonville, Kentucky, Dalton, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee, and Franklin, Tennessee. They have been doing interim ministry since May 2007. They are working with the 11th church since they started this special work.
