I was born in the UK, now living in Australia's North Queensland. I have been writing for many years but am a better editor I think. The children's books present in my bookshelf were early experiments, my latest offering is better I think. It is the first in a Trilogy (two of which have been written, but only one am I publishing now). Teapots, Book 1, The Fifth Husband, is a story of love in a retirement home, it is almost a French Farce in its craziness, but it is a comment on what I would like to see happening in Retirement homes. Love at any age is a great things. I am getting to THAT age and still searching. I don't have a blog page anymore, but several Facebook pages including my Freelance Editor page.ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Gabi was born and brought up in England in the ‘50s, lived in France and Spain for eight years then immigrated to Australia in 1987 with her husband David and their two sons, Caerwyn and Morgan. She lived in Perth, Western Australia for 14 years and moved to North Queensland in 2001. Gabi’s first book, Registered Under Another Name was written as a catharsis having discovered at the age of 34 that she had been adopted. Gabi has written eight children’s books, the Mumble & Jumble Magic & Mayhem series of 3 short stories in 3 books. The romantic comedy series Teapots features: Teapots 1, The Fifth Husband which is an almost black comedy about jealousy and fierce rivalry in a retirement Home; Teapots 2, Turning Back the Clock takes the residents of Rosehill back to the 1960s where unexpected ingredients in their food engenders some extreme fun and frivolity uncommon in septuagenarians and Teapots 3, Hideaway House, pits the two Retirement Homes against each other until nature intervenes and throws them all back into the same gloomy pit.
