Frederick Keith Lancaster is a forty-year youth services professional whose career has spanned roles as a case manager in Los Angeles, a Department of Juvenile Justice manager, and, currently, the managing supervisor and CJPO for Juvenile Services in his home county. He holds both a BA and a JD and has dedicated his life to guiding young people and families toward healthier, more resilient futures. Lancaster’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that strong, confident children build stable communities—communities where acceptance and self-worth flourish. His first book, A World of Their Own: Eight Matrixes of Superstar Performance of Perpetuity, distilled the foundational tools he developed while mentoring and managing at-risk youth. In his latest book, The Power of Small Wins: Tiny Steps That Create Big Success, Lancaster turns his focus to young boys who struggle with direction in today’s world. Drawing on decades of experience, he presents ten essential attributes designed to restore confidence and help boys live more balanced, empowered lives. In addition, Lancaster’s next book, Questions That Can Be Answered: Powerful Lessons For Young Boys Who Are Angry, continues to explore the dynamics of modern-day young boys’ feelings of being angry and devotional and meditative solutions that may help them in life. The book is a continuing examination of the issues and problems concerning youth today. Beyond his professional work, Lancaster is deeply connected to his community. He has spoken at schools, churches, and civic organizations, offering practical guidance for parents and educators. He also mentors young professionals entering youth services, carrying forward his commitment to service and leadership. He continues his service at Juvenile Court in his hometown of Brewton, Alabama, where he lives with his family. Outside of his career, Lancaster enjoys fitness, reading, and volunteering in community youth programs.
