Frank Freudberg is a screenwriter, novelist, and former breaking-news journalist. Before turning to fiction, he spent years on the streets of Philadelphia with a police scanner, a notebook, and a camera – getting to crime scenes before staff reporters with company cars. His freelance work produced bylines and photo credits for USA Today, UPI, Reuters, and the Associated Press, including the UPI eyewitness account of the last judicial hanging in the United States and a Los Angeles Times op-ed syndicated worldwide. He is the author of two published novels, Find Virgil (originally published as Gasp) and Baby Please Don't Go, and five feature screenplays. His screenplays include two adaptations of his novels, two projects in active packaging, and one feature under option. He lives and writes near Philadelphia.
