Fallacious Rose lives in country Australia and writes mainly to avoid chopping the wood. Her hobbies are writing the lyrics to songs, which she then puts to other people's music (since she's terrible at making up her own tunes), painting portraits of people which look nothing like the originals, and aspirational vege-gardening. Aspirational, because she is yet to produce an actual vegetable.

Rose writes childrens' books (as they're mischievous and can be slightly gruesome, they're more suitable for older children who like, for instance, Roald Dahl). She's also written a paranormal thriller romance series, Like Flies, a semi-fictional 'personal transformation' memoir (complete with imaginary friends), a dark and brutal re-telling of the Little Mermaid, set in modern Australia, and several books of short stories.
