After completing her four-year studies, she took a courageous leap into the unknown by relocating to Sugar Land, Texas, eager to embark on a rewarding career as a Talent Acquisition Professional. Driven by an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth, she embarked on a transformative journey by enrolling in the esteemed School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, where she proudly earned an advanced certification. Through her unwavering dedication and tireless efforts, Felicia not only made her mark but also earned the distinguished title of Top Producer in the professional staffing industry. A devoted Christian, Felicia found love in Lee, with whom she has shared a beautiful journey of over 30 years of marriage. Together, they joyfully raised two wonderful children, Timothy and Brandon. Now, as empty nesters, they are cherishing their newfound time together, accompanied by their spirited Labrador puppies, who have brought a delightful energy into their lives. The joy these puppies bring has inspired Felicia to reconnect with her passion for writing, focusing on whimsical short stories about her playful dogs. "Barkley’s Adventures" introduces readers to the charming chaos created by Barkley, a lovable puppy who is the heart and soul of the neighborhood. Not only is Barkley a beloved socialite, but he is also the most coveted playmate, drawing local children to the Whitford door each day with the hopeful question, "Can Barkley come out to play?" With a penchant for pizza and a knack for mischief, Barkley guarantees that life is never dull. Felicia is passionate about blending children's learning with real-life experiences, aiming to inspire children. She is thrilled to unveil that she is working on additional enchanting stories featuring Barkley, in which his delightful Labrador brothers and sisters—Bristol, Zoey, Murphy, and Charlie—will join the adventures.
