Ewan Flynn was born in north London in 1981 and began playing amateur football soon thereafter. Ewan's first book We Are Sunday League was published in 2017. He now writes passionately about football for publications including Four Four Two and When Saturday Comes and performed a passage from We Are Sunday League live on BBC Radio 4's Four Thought programme. He still plays football every week and has no immediate plans to hang up his boots.
