Evangeline Hunter may or may not have escaped from a government lab, and frankly, the paperwork has been sealed. She lives in New York, where she has spent an unreasonable amount of time researching cryptids, ghosts, witches, cursed objects, obscure folklore, and creatures most sensible people would avoid after sunset. She firmly believes every city has at least three supernatural conspiracies happening at any given time and considers “that building looks haunted” a perfectly valid reason to cross the street and investigate. When she isn’t falling down bizarre research rabbit holes, Evangeline tends to a suspiciously thriving garden with her corgi, who has never once helped but remains deeply committed to the project.
