Ernie resides in Sydney, Australia and is the proud father of five sons. He attended Cleveland Street Boys High School in Sydney, Australia. He completed his degree in Psychology, at the University of New South Wales. He completed his MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management and was selected on exchange to UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management. Whilst at UCLA he attended the famous UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television (TFT). In the early 2010’s, Ernie was blessed to be mentored by the sage of screenwriting, Emeritus Prof, Richard Walter, former Interim Dean of the UCLA TFT. Ernie’s first two books derive from his work with Richard. Ernie’s 2022 book, ‘A Mother’s Blood’, is a profound insight into the intersection of human sexuality and technology. The book is based upon his award-winning screenplay. Ernie’s 2023 book, ‘Seven’, is a neo-noir serial crime thriller, also based upon his award-winning screenplay. He won the 2017 New York Screenplay Contest.
