Hi! I’m Erika. I am originally from Summerville, SC. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2001. A year or so after graduation, I enlisted in the Air Force as a Computer Networking Switching Systems Apprentice. I spent the next ten and a half years traveling the world and soaking up the culture around me. My tenure in the United States Air Force made a huge impact on my life and subsequent work. I met my husband, traveled the world and most importantly adopted two precious puppies. After separating from the Air Force in 2013, I had a series of jobs. I took the leap into full time writing in 2018 when I self-published my first illustrated coffee table book, “Big Foot Rd and Other Strange Signage.” Now, I write webcomics and fantasy fiction for young adults.
