Dr. Eric J. Bargerhuff has served in pastoral ministry for over 22 years and is currently the Vice President for Academic Affairs and a Professor in the Bible and Theology Department at Trinity College of Florida. He further serves as an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, North Carolina. Having achieved a Bachelors and Master of Divinity Degree in Ashland, Ohio, Eric also holds a Ph.D. in Theological Studies (Biblical and Systematic Theology) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. His deep love for people, writing, and teaching keeps him active in his local church leading Bible studies while also writing books that help people understand biblical verses, stories, and principles in context so that they can faithfully apply them to the Christian life. Eric is originally from Indiana where he was raised in a rural context in a family that loved to eat, sing hymns, and play outside. He is an avid Chicago Cubs fan and will always own several Indiana University basketball t-shirts. He finds joy in biking, cooking, and sharing life with his family. His fourth book entitled "Why is THAT in the Bible" was released in August 2020 through Bethany House Publishers (Baker Publishing Group).
