Emma was a published poet during her teenage years before transitioning into a successful Executive Assistant in the Technology field. Emma's ability to blend her artistic background with a thriving career in a different industry demonstrates her flexibility and dedication to personal and professional growth. The inspiration for The Doonies adventures stemmed from leisurely walks with their dogs, Kevin and Riggs, in a nearby forest in Canada during the Fall of 2022. The idea of tiny, magical creatures inhabiting the enchanting woodlands Emma had stumbled upon simply popped into her head. The Doonies had burst onto the scene, demanding to be written about. In one single fevered night, Emma outlined all 10 books with interconnected storylines. And just like that, on the same evening she began writing Book One.
