My newest books include Captain Cat and the Pirate Lunch and Captain Cat Goes to Mars. Recently, I illustrated my first picture book, If This Bird Had Pockets – A Poem in Your Pocket Day Celebration, poetry by Amy Ludwig VanDerwater. I live in Austin, Texas and can often be seen walking my Golden Retriever, Bella, working in the yard and hanging out at taco trucks. My favorite taco is potato, egg and cheese on a corn tortilla.
