Emily Arons, a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest, writes middle grade sci-fi eco-adventures filled with wonder, friendship, and courage. After more than two decades developing beloved children’s properties at The Pokémon Company and Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro), she now creates her own stories—blending wonder, nature, and bold storytelling with kids at the heart. Her debut novel, 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘰 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴, received an acclaimed review from 𝘒𝘪𝘳𝘬𝘶𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴 and launches a planned series rooted in courage, friendship, and environmental stewardship. A companion graphic novel adaptation is now available, expanding Jimmy Aster’s world for readers who love illustrated adventure. Emily’s passion for exploration extends beyond the page. She has run the Grand Canyon from rim to river and back, and climbed iconic peaks including Yosemite’s Half Dome and Mt. Whitney. Now living in Woodinville, Washington, with her family, two dogs—including Ziggy, the real-life Otto—and a bossy cat, she finds inspiration on Pacific Northwest trails, on the tennis court, and in the wild places that spark her imagination. Through her writing, Emily hopes to inspire kids to protect our planet and discover the courage within themselves.
