Edvaldo Silva holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Multimedia from UNICAMP and a postgraduate degree in Advertising from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (USP). He is the author of “From the Valve to the Pixel”, the first book published in both Brazil and Portugal to explore the revolution of streaming. The work has become an academic reference, included in the libraries of institutions like ESPM, Belas Artes, and FAAP, and cited in postgraduate theses as well as in the acclaimed publication “Brand Publishing,” released by Fundação Dom Cabral. His debut novel, the suspense thriller “Beyond the Smoke”, received both critical and public acclaim: it earned an Honorable Mention at the 2023 Latino Book Awards (California/USA), was a finalist for the ABERST Literature Prize, was selected by Audible (Amazon) for its audiobook catalog, and was featured by Vogue, Rolling Stone, Band News, and the 18th Londrix Literary Festival. In 2024, he released the historical novel “1968: Sparks Beneath Dry Straw”, published by Editora Serendipity. The novel tells a powerful story of love, resistance, and transformation, set against the backdrop of the 1968 student protests in Paris and the brutal repression of Brazil’s military dictatorship. The book was selected by Brazil’s National Textbook Program – PNLD Equity, in the Human Rights category, for distribution in public schools across the country, aimed at young and adult readers.
