E.V. Bancroft always wanted to be a writer when she grew up. Despite that she had a career's worth of numbers as an accountant. Her debut novel, Warm Pearls and Paper Cranes won the Golden Crown Literary Society (Goldie). Her third novel, Green For Love will be published on 1 June 2023 and she's working on her fourth. Maybe she's grown up, at last? She lives near Bristol, England with her daughter and neurotic cat. Questions 1. What book had the most significant impact on your life? Brene Brown books – probably “the power of vulnerability” 2. If you found out the world was ending in a year, how would you spend your time? Spending time with friends and family… and writing! 3. If you could have a second chance at one event in your life, what would you choose? Doing an off-road driving competition in Morocco. It was exhausting, frightening and exhilarating. 4. If you could choose to be any animal, what animal would you choose to be? An elephant. They are so loyal and intelligent. 5. If you could tell your younger self any one thing, what would it be? Believe in yourself. Accept your doubts and fear and do it anyway. And have fun!
