E.R. Masters is the author of the Veilbreaker series, a dark fantasy saga blending arcane noir, political intrigue, and emotionally driven magic. His work explores the cost of power, the scars of survival, and the fragile lines between love, loyalty, and corruption. Drawing inspiration from classic fantasy, modern dark fiction, and tabletop storytelling, Masters builds worlds where magic leaves consequences and heroes are rarely whole. His characters—investigators, soldiers, fae, and demons—are shaped as much by trauma and choice as by destiny. Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Masters balances writing with real-world responsibilities. When he’s not building fractured realms and unraveling the Veil, he works for the State of Florida within the court system, funding his coffee and gaming habits. Veilbreaker: Arcane and Ash is his debut novel, with subsequent volumes continuing to expand the dark and dangerous world of Aethralein.
