E.A. Fortneaux: Where cotton candy covers contain questionable content—think mayhem and make-outs, all wrapped in lush worldbuilding. She's the mind behind the Obligates of Ærta series, a spicy romance fantasy filled with fate-bound lovers, emotional disasters... and this other guy who is so frustratingly delicious that he’ll keep you up past your bedtime.

She published her debut, Following the Snow, in 2023 as an homage to the strong women who surrounded her growing up—passionate, proud, and a little unhinged. Since then, she’s been weaving realms with threads of passion and unleashing sequels like Snow on the Summit and When Snow Falls, with more releases on the way.

When she’s not writing, Fortneaux is probably caffeinated and covered in dog hair—gardening, researching medieval nonsense, or laughing with her book besties. She writes stories that feel like home—if home had mood lighting, self-love, and lots of kissing.
