Duke Masters writes Southern Gothic horror, dark thrillers, and stories about broken families, buried sins, and bad decisions that refuse to stay buried. His fiction blends small-town dread, hard-edged characters, black humor, and cinematic suspense.

Before turning his attention fully to fiction, Masters spent more than twenty years in professional wrestling as a performer, producer, and storyteller—an education in spectacle, conflict, and keeping an audience on the edge of its seat.

His books include Old Testament, Family Survival, The Change, The Collector Trilogy, and Laugh City Confidential. Whether the danger waits beneath black water, behind a neighbor’s smile, or inside the family itself, every Duke Masters story begins with one promise: somebody made a bad choice, and the bill is coming due.

He lives in Florida and is currently writing his next Southern Gothic nightmare.
