Joyce Addo-Atuah, PhD, is a multiple award-winning author, educator, speaker, pharmacist, and Founder & CEO of Crafters Global Communications LLC, a gratitude-inspired social enterprise advancing education, healthcare, leadership development, and positive social impact. As the Global Gratitude Ambassador, Dr. Addo-Atuah is passionate about helping individuals, organizations, and communities harness the transformative power of gratitude to enhance well-being, strengthen relationships, build resilience, improve productivity, and live more purposeful and fulfilling lives. A pioneer in clinical pharmacy education and practice in Ghana and Anglophone West Africa, she has served in several distinguished leadership roles, including National Pharmaceutical Advisor with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ghana, member of the Ghana Health Service Council, and a full-time college professor in New York City from 2008 to 2025. An ordained Deaconess of the Church of Pentecost, she also served on the Board of the Pentecost Biblical Seminary in New Jersey, USA, from 2017 to 2023. While researching gratitude for her first book, Dr. Addo-Atuah made a life-changing discovery. Family and friends had long wondered what accounted for her evergreen youthful appearance, positive outlook, boundless energy, and resilience. As she explored the scientific literature, she realized she was living proof of many of the benefits that research consistently associates with gratitude, including improved well-being, optimism, resilience, generosity, stronger relationships, and greater productivity. That realization inspired a deeper mission to share the science, scripture, and lived experience of gratitude with the world to promote transformative and purposeful living. Today, Dr. Addo-Atuah speaks and writes on Gratitude Living, leadership, organizational culture, and purposeful living. She is the creator of the ELEVATE™ Framework, a strategic model for building an organizational culture of gratitude that begins with employee well-being and fosters engagement, excellence, and productivity, and the ARGG™ Framework, a practical approach to whole-person Gratitude Living. Through her YouTube channel, Crafters Global Communications, she hosts Global Voices of Legacy, featuring inspiring conversations with leaders and changemakers from around the world, and The Word Unfiltered, where she explores the practical application of biblical wisdom to everyday life, leadership, personal growth, spiritual formation, and purposeful living. Above all, Joyce is profoundly grateful to God, her family, and the many individuals who have served as channels of blessing throughout her life's journey.
