International Award winning author, Dr. Bridgette Everhart Hardin, is a professional in higher education who has been navigating her own journey of suicide-related grief since her brother’s untimely passing in 1982. Bridgette graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with two bachelors of arts degrees—psychology and speech communications. Bridgette also holds a master’s of science degree and an earned doctorate degree from Texas A&M University—Corpus Christi. Throughout the span of her professional career, Bridgette has been blessed with opportunities to work in the following fields: funeral industry, social work, corporate training, and higher education. Bridgette has received advanced formal training in the area of bereavement and loss from the Archdiocese of Denver, with additional relevant training from the Protective Services Training Institute of Texas.
