Dr. Andrew Strauss, BS, MS, DC, is the founder and director of Hudson Valley Scoliosis Correction Center in Nanuet, New York. With over 39 years of clinical experience, he is one of the most experienced non-surgical scoliosis specialists in the United States. Dr. Strauss is a CLEAR Senior Fellow, a certified Schroth therapist (BSPTS — Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School), SEAS-certified (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis), and Yoga for Scoliosis certified. He is the originator of the Strauss Method for scoliosis correction, Vice President of the CLEAR Scoliosis Institute, and a member of SOSORT (Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment) and the North American Spine Society (NASS). Dr. Strauss is the author of Your Child Has Scoliosis, Now What Do You Do? (2016) and The Truth About Adult Scoliosis (2018).
