DONNA FADO IVERY is an award-winning author, artist, and inspirational speaker. Her memoir SLEEP, PRAY, HEAL recounts her healing journey from a disabling head injury: from dependence to independence! For nearly twenty years, Donna relied upon a cane, wheelchair, and opiates to get around. Now she walks freely. Donna narrated and produced the audiobook of SLEEP, PRAY, HEAL, with a grant from the UCLA Disabled Artists & the California Arts Foundation. Due to pandemic delays, the sequel, SLEEP, PRAY, FLY, should be released in late 2022/early 2023. Ordained in the United Methodist Church, Donna has pastored congregations in Northern California and continues to be a sought-after speaker, sharing her healing from chronic pain through art and Spirit. She loves sunrises, baking bread, and charades. She is married to the Reverend Dr. Hubert Ivery and they have two adult daughters.
