Don Eggspuehler has lived in Richardson, Texas since 1975, but he grew up in Iowa Falls, Iowa, a small town in the heartland of America. Don graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in International Studies in 1969 and later became a Marine Corps officer who flew combat bombing missions in A-6A jets in Vietnam. He was married for 23 years to Linda Combs and they had three children: Cari, Jaime and Chad. Linda passed away from a brain tumor at age 46. Don's business career included 30 years of computer software sales and consulting. Don has published five books: Star Benchwarmers, a family memoir about his wife's battle with cancer and how their kids became caregivers, Teachings From Pop, a historical fiction novel about the original settlers and founders of Iowa Falls, and two books titled, Life Lessons Learned in Grade School - Parts One and Two. He also published: Letters To Mom - Marine Corps - Boot Camp - Flight School - Vietnam which is a compilation of the letters and pictures he sent him to his mother during his time in the military. He is currently releasing his latest book titled, Life Lessons Learned in Junior High - Funny and Awkward Stories Of A Young Boy Going Through Puberty.
