Doc has done quite a few things during his years as an adult. An avid fisherman he had a video program titled "Reelin' and Rockin' which was seen on PBS stations (this is before ESPN existed).
From this he moved from Los Angeles to Montana and because of his fishing experience he had a fly fishing shop on the Yellowstone River. Because of the seasonal nature of the business he began writing for local, national and international publications. However this still left him with time to write novels, short stories, and trilogies.
His first novel is historical and deals with Russia in the year 1717. Some of the tourists to Yellowstone Park that visited his shop said that it was correct in historical nature and the wives liked it because it was romantic.
Next came a trilogy that was 'soft science fiction'. The name was Plateaus with three books .
The next trilogy is the Slip and Slide Company of Montana and deals with political situations and Doc admits that it "leans to the right."
Short Stories come from the time he wrote for a publication from Livingston, Montana and he calls it 'The Bathroom Book of Tales'.
And for the fishermen in the family Doc was nominated by Fish and Fly Magazine to be one of the Yellowstone Anglers which he is placed with the likes of nine nationally known fly fishermen and one woman. His book 'Fly Fishing Yellowstone National Park has become a great learning instrument for the first through fifth time visitor to the Park. It is also a audio book as well.
So come and join the people who are anxiously awaiting his next novel.
