Dinko Skopljak transcends borders and creates new literary worlds. Born in Yugoslavia (now Bosnia-Herzegovina) in 1977, he fled to Germany in 1991 to escape the war. His curiosity led him through numerous positions from dental technician to web designer until he finally hit the mark as an author. His debut work "Die Stranded" won over fans of the dystopia genre with excitement, drama and creativity and quickly took on a cult status. Today, Skopljak lives with his two daughters and the children of his partner and their dog Tofu between Würzburg and Görlitz.
